Instruments / | Limiting the load on the coupling fixture |
The service life and reliability of threaded connections depends on the pressures on the fastening tools. Excessive load or operating machinery violation of fasteners can lead to premature breakdown and destruction of studs, bolts and other parts and units.
The most common way to reduce the external load is pre-tightening mounting knots, which allows you to transfer the load on the fastener is only partially. However, the tightening fasteners can create a minimum pressure at the required density interface only if the use of high quality parts. For best performance of the units we produce fasteners (bolts, nuts, washers, pins), steel fasteners for flange connections, a special, high-strength, corrosion-proof, heat-resistant, high precision fasteners.
Exploitation of threaded connections is associated not only with a pre-load torque, but also with the strain to tensile and bending forces. Tensile loads are different for different types of fasteners, depending on the purpose of the threaded connection. Often trigger tensile forces are thermal deformation of parts.
With regard to bending loads, the cause of their occurrence is often a skewed support head screw and nut, pins and axial holes, as well as various support planes fasteners. However, perhaps the most desirable factor of such loads are the elastic deformations of connected parts, which give rise to additional bending stress, which is extremely undesirable.
