    Confirmation of the low-voltage equipment

    The declaration of conformity is carried out by one of the schemes, depending on the risk of low-voltage equipment and the type of its release (standard or parties). Let's see, what's the difference of these schemes. The first of them – circuit 1e – It constitutes acceptance of the declaration of conformity on the basis of their own evidence. It is only used to verify compliance with the low-voltage equipment, which does not belong to a risk group. The validity of the declaration of conformity adopted under this scheme shall not exceed 1 year from the date of its registration.

    The second scheme – 2d – It is used to verify compliance with low-voltage equipment, which refers to any of the risk groups. Apart from their own evidence, it also requires evidence obtained with the participation of an accredited testing laboratory, which is involved in a contract. The limitation period of study protocols and measurements obtained in the laboratory, can not exceed half of the period of validity of the declaration on the date of its registration. The validity of the declaration may be different (depending on risk). If low-voltage equipment belongs to the first group of risk – the validity of the declaration of conformity is 1 year if the second – 9 months, and if the third – six months.

    The third scheme 3d as the previous and subsequent, is used to verify that the unit relating to any risk. Besides all the evidence required in the circuit 2d, this scheme requires to have a quality system certificate regarding inspection and testing of this type of equipment in the production, issued in accordance with national standards. The validity of the declaration of conformity on the basis of 3D circuits must not exceed 3 years from the date of registration of the declaration.

    The last scheme, 4d, adopted on the basis of their own evidence and evidence obtained with the participation of an accredited testing center, as well as quality system certificate. The validity of this declaration of compliance can not be more than 5 years from the date of its registration.

    For greater clarity, we note that, for example, the first manufacturer of low-voltage equipment at risk, you can choose a declaration of conformity by the scheme 2d, and for the supplier of equipment that does not belong to any risk group – Only circuit 1d.

    Schemes 1D and 2D are also used for mandatory conformity of low-voltage equipment, issued by the parties, taking into account the degree of risk. Also for the release party conformity assessment may take the form of certification scheme 1c, which we now consider. It should also be pointed out that the declaration and certificate of conformity of the party low-voltage equipment is only valid for equipment attributable to a particular party.

    Certification of low-voltage equipment, mass-produced, performed by one of three schemes. Scheme 1c involves the certification on the basis of studies and measurements specified equipment.
